Axiros is pleased to present the comprehensive Axess CPE autoconfiguration management platform, which enables subscribers of providers to have their DSL router devices automatically adjusted to their personal settings, without any technical knowledge. Here, CPE stands for Customer Premise Equipment, in our case the subscribers DSL router. This auto-configuration will significantly reduce call center expenses, facilitating a considerable increase of profit per customer.

Axiros' Axess CPE management solution allows for CPE configuration without the provider being bound to one specific CPE vendor. The emerging auto-configuration standard TR-069 is fully supported. Technically advanced further components enrich the solution on the CPEs themselves, eliminating the customer's need to reconfigure IP addresses, demonstrating them to install the devices within their premises correctly, whilst being offline and easily connect them without hassle. These features also remedies the need to preregister devices before delivery. An optional PC client program additionally strengthens the solution, by featuring the ability to support misconfigured PCs automatic application maintainance on the PC, according to a profile.

The platform takes care of firmware management of the CPEs, including automatic firmware updates. Comprehensive information about the current status of the configuration process is delivered to an existing OSS software environment of the provider. Furthermore, a branded customer portal can be deployed on the Axess server, in order to deliver a rich set of Value Added Services to the subscriber and enrich the feature-set of the standalone unmanaged CPEs. The platform is also capable of supporting vintage CPEs which do not support TR-069 at all. By this Axess can also support an already installed base of not TR-069 capable CPEs to turn them into managed devices.

Axiros is pleased to offer a full Axess® CPE Management Platform that includes the carrier license, brandable, fully functional customer portal pages, access to all Axiros network applications, consulting, installation, verification and acceptance testing and training. Also integration with 3rd party software systems or new CPE Hardware is offered by Axiros.
