Axiros Partners with TVZ University on Open Device Management / IoT Certification Courses

13 July 2017 – MUNICH, GERMANY – Axiros, a global leader in Internet of Things, Machine to Machine, TR-069, and device management, is developing a training program in consultation with the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences (TVZ) of Croatia, which will foster the education and certification of qualified students in network Element Management Systems and IoT.

The Axiros Academy will feature the company’s industry-leading technology in the University-taught courses, which will provide skill-based IoT training and other academic programs related to Service Management.

Zagreb University of Applied Sciences is developing the academic training and certification program, with support and guidance from Axiros. The certification training will teach skills required of network engineers to plan & design, integrate, operate and troubleshoot complex, converged IoT ecosystems from Open Device Management & TR-069 to IoT Event Stream Processing to Things Life Cycle Management and Service Assurance.

Axiros and the University will be collaborating on the selection of qualified faculty members and training materials that will prepare students to make a direct impact on their workplace. Students who enroll in Axiros Academy will excel in the fast-growing opportunities in networking technology.

The university’s expectation is that students will receive a thorough and quality education in this fast-growing area of Networking Technology. Telecommunications engineers, in ICT, technical staff of system integrators and other IT students will all benefit from this education.

This joint venture, announced by TVZ Dean Dr. Slavica Ćosović Bajić and Axiros CEO Kurt Peterhans, will see the first students certified in the summer of 2017. Additional support and collaboration will be available with the new Axiros office opening in Zagreb.
