Axiros’ AXPERIENCE 2.0 is in contention for the IoT Award. AXPERIENCE is the Platform as a Service (PaaS) for the Internet of Things. In early 2015, Axiros extended its reach into IoT and M2M, leveraging device management with true IT/OS integration. With the release of AXPERIENCE 2.0, the IoT platform that complements its already established AXESS suite for TR-069 and other protocol device management that is used by service providers, enterprises, and OEMs worldwide, Axiros’ decade of leadership in the device management arena is now able to be leveraged for IoT.

With computing moving to the network edge and devices needing an IoT solution, device management will be paramount. Without management, provisioning and ongoing reporting, chaos will ensue. Hence the need for a solution such as AXPERIENCE 2.0. If we reflect on when TR-069 was introduced for device management, and the impact that it had on maintaining order in broadband networks (and beyond), Axiros anticipates that AXPERIENCE 2.0 will be performing in the same capacity considering the protocols are similar  (although formal recommendations have not been made) for the IoT community – but instead of thousands or millions of devices we will be managing a multitude.

As further proof to Axiros’ commitment to the IoT market, it was also recently recognized as one of five global 2015 Cool Vendors in IoT by Gartner, and CIOReview chose Axiros as one of its 20 Most Promising M2M Solution Suppliers
