Technical Support Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Profile:

  • Degree in Network or Software Engineering (preferable)

  • Experience in a telecommunications/ISP environment (preferable)

  • International customer relationship experience (preferable)

  • Availability to work rotations on a 24/7 “Standby mode” shift schedule

  • Programming Skills: Python, Javascript, Ajax, HTML, CSS

  • Web Protocols: HTTP, SOAP, XML-RPC, REST

  • Database Systems: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB

  • Network Technologies: TCP/IP and related protocols, Knowledge of OSI stack

  • Operating Systems: Linux and other UNIX-based OS

  • Experience in handling work through Support Ticketing Systems

  • Languages: English (mandatory both written and spoken)
