Axiros Introduces the Latest Release of their USP Agent - AXACT 2023.3
AXACT TR-069 / USP Stack - Connectivity to Almost Any Kind Of Device
June 21, 2023 - MUNICH, GERMANY - Telecommunications software leader Axiros is proud to announce the successful launch of the AXACT 2023.3 release, which offers the most efficient and effective approach to making devices manageable via USP and TR-069 simultaneously.
This release follows a standard update pattern, incorporating the latest supported standard versions, introducing several new features, and delivering numerous enhancements, improvements, and bug fixes for an enhanced user experience.
Some notable highlights from this release are:
Supported USP version is now 1.3
Supported TR-181i2 data model is now 2.16
Add option to compile out all logging for very low resource implementations
Add support for automatically decoding USP Records for debugging (only!) purposes
Remove support for very outdated OpenSSL versions (< 1.1) and TLS versions (< 1.2) in general
Removed long-deprecated configstorage API
“With support for the just released new specifications, we’re continuing to reaffirm our technological leadership with USP”, said Daniel Egger, Product Owner of AXACT and Program Stream Lead for Data modeling in the BBF, adding “but we also managed to implement some feature requests of our most recent new customers and provide some spring cleaning and streamlining.”
The Axiros AXACT CWMP and USP client is used to provide TR-069 | TR-369 functionality to almost any kind of device. AXACT provides a fully Broadband Forum (“BBF”) standards-compliant TR-069 | TR-369 protocol implementation together with a highly customizable data model, which allows a TR-069 ACS or USP Controller to configure and monitor every feature supported by the device.
